North Decatur Chargers Varsity Takes Some Time To Pull Away From South Decatur
North Decatur Chargers Varsity had trouble putting away South Decatur on Monday, but eventually North Decatur Chargers Varsity prevailed 8-7. North Decatur Chargers Varsity took the lead for good in the seventh inning. The game was tied at seven with North Decatur Chargers Varsity batting in the top of the seventh when Christian McQueen singled off of Brogan Howard, driving in one run.
North Decatur Chargers Varsity collected 11 hits and South Decatur had seven in the high-scoring affair
North Decatur Chargers Varsity took an early lead in the first inning. Cameron Adams drove in one when he singled in the first inning.
South Decatur knotted the game up at seven in the bottom of the sixth inning. An error scored one run for South Decatur.

Walterman, Christian McQueen, Stirn, and Adams each collected multiple hits for North Decatur Chargers Varsity. Walterman led North Decatur Chargers Varsity with three hits in four at bats.
