Chargers musters 1 hit, drops 15-0 contest to South Ripley (Versailles, IN)

Chargers wound up on the wrong side of a 15-0 score on Saturday at SR, tasting defeat at the hands of South Ripley .

C Walker, A Halcomb, L Welch and C Turner helped lead South Ripley . They combined for seven hits and 10 RBIs.

South Ripley never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring two runs on a groundout by L Pickett and an RBI single by C Walker.

South Ripley added three more runs in the bottom of the second. C Turner started the inning with a single, plating Halcomb. That was followed up by K Riley’s single, scoring L Welch.

South Ripley increased its lead with nine runs in the fourth. C Walker doubled, bringing home K Riley and T Derek to start the inning. That was followed up by T Tucker’s single, plating C Walker.
